I want to cycle the objects that I have selected by clicking on a root object and then holding down the SHIFT key in a fancy DXL loop. Does anyone know how to do this? |
Re: Cycling selected object (via SHIFT keyboard button)
FYI this is how I got around the problem. However, if you have a sexier way of doing the same work let me know
Module m = current
Object currObj, first_o = null
string err = ""
Skip s = create
int i = 0
int id
if (isShare current) {
// Put the absolute number of selected objects in a skip list
// This is needed because of a bug in the getSelection function
// and because the selection is lost once you lock an object.
for currObj in m do {
if(isSelected(currObj) && isVisible(o)) {
if(null first_o)
first_o = currObj
id = currObj."Absolute Number"
put(s, i++, id)
}
}
// Lock all objects from the skiplist.
for id in s do {
println("id: " id "")
currObj = object(id)
if(!isLockedByUser(currObj)) {
err = lock(currObj)
if(!null err) {
ack(err)
halt
}
}
o."Type" = get(dbe_type_comboBox)
}
unlockSaveSection(current Object)
} else {
ack("The current module is not opened in shareable edit!")
}
